Lisa Armstrong is a police detective with an unusual specialization. She does things that most other officers don't encounter - she holds the hands of relatives during body identification, supports them at press conferences and in court, and learns more about the victim's life than their closest people. When Armstrong is assigned to investigate the case of missing teenagers, at first it seems like a normal assignment.
