Former boxer Sal, on the threshold of his fortieth birthday, reflects on his life. He is bored in the province without a decent or interesting job, never having realized his championship ambitions. His personal life also does not bring joy to the athlete. The man cannot seem to find common ground with his teenage daughter Molly. One day, Sal's old friend Vince approaches him and offers to participate in underground fights. Will Sal take this chance to continue his career or choose a peaceful family life?
