Y2K

The plot of the film plays out the legendary "Y2K problem," when at the dawn of the new millennium, developers and programmers were worried that computers would not be able to handle the arrival of the year 2000 and the world would descend into chaos. High school student Eli is in love with popular classmate Laura, who is constantly pursued by guys. Together with his best friend, he goes to a loud party to welcome the year 2000, where he tries to talk to the girl but is harshly rejected by her latest boyfriend. Suddenly, after midnight, all technology goes haywire and starts hunting people. It seems like this is Eli's chance to prove himself and save Laura.
